Year 6 have once again turned themselves into mad scientists! We have been delving into the exciting world of scientific enquiry with a focus on fair testing and identifying dependent and independent variables. Our journey began with investigating mouldy bread and rusty nails in our own class experiments and classes are now taking turns to venture out and visit the senior science labs. This is a very valuable part of our transition into Middle School. Under the watchful eye of the marvellous Mrs Ritson, the students will each create jelly worms. The excitement will then continue throughout this term as the students each design and carry out an experiment of their own.
