And Friends at GCC
The Parents and Friends (P&F) Association is a dedicated group of parents, family members, and friends who are passionate about enhancing our school environment and making school life unforgettable for our children. Our focus is on giving students the best memories possible, creating a fun, supportive community, and providing them with resources that make learning and play even more enriching.
Through our efforts, we provide a grants program that allows teachers to request valuable resources for their classrooms and students, ensuring they have what they need to thrive.
Our fundraising has helped make significant contributions to the school, including:
• A new Prep cubby house
• A brand-new Lower Primary playground
• Ongoing work toward updating the Upper Primary/ Middle School playground
Our Events
The P&F organises several fun and engaging events throughout the school year, creating lasting memories for students and fostering community spirit at Glasshouse Christian College. Here’s what you can expect from us:
• Primary School Discos - A favourite among students!
• Mother’s and Father’s Day Stalls - These allow students to purchase lovely, affordable gifts.
• BBQ/Sausage Sizzles and Drinks Stalls - Hosted at sports carnivals and Open Day.
• Colour Run - An exciting and vibrant way to end Term 3! Students look forward to this colorful, high-energy event.
• Fundraising Drives - Including cookie dough, pie drives, and other fundraisers that directly support our school.
Get Involved
We’d love to have you join us! Our P&F meetings are welcoming, relaxed, and held on the first Tuesday of each month. Meeting dates are advertised on the GCC families Facebook page, and we encourage any parent or friend interested to come along. We’re always looking for fresh ideas and new team members to help spearhead projects - if you have a suggestion or are eager to get involved, we’d love to hear from you!
