Step 1: Submission of Enrolment Application

Complete our new online Enrolment Application submission (per student) including the required documentation together with the $100 Application fee (change of application fee increase is effective from 1 March 2021). This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a place at the College. The enrolment process cannot continue until all documents are provided. Please be in touch with our Registrar to check the availability within your specific year level of admission.

Step 2: Acknowledgement of Application

After we have received your Enrolment Application and Application Fee, a letter of acknowledgement and receipt of payment will be sent to you.  This will occur within 48 hours of receiving your application.  If you have not heard from us, please call our Registrar on 07 5439 0033.  You will be advised if there are any waiting pools that may affect you.  Waiting pools are being experienced across many year levels, early submission of the Enrolment Application is strongly encouraged.

Step 3: Enrolment Interview

When there is an available placement, an enrolment interview will then be scheduled with the appropriate Head of School. Interviews for future years, like Prep and Year 7, will begin in the March/April of the year prior. An interview does not guarantee a place at the College.

Step 4: Letter of Offer and Confirmation of Placement

Following the interview, you will receive written notification of the interview outcome.  All offers are made in writing and this will be deemed to be accepted once a signed acceptance letter, signed enrolment contract and confirmation family bond payment is received by the College by the due date. This acceptance sets out the conditions and expectations of the parties within the Enrolment Contract. A letter of offer is emailed as soon as practical after the enrolment interview.

Waiting Pools

In all cases, early submission of the Enrolment Application is recommended due to waiting pools in some year levels. If enrolment cannot be offered at the time of application, an applicant’s name will be placed in a waiting pool for the requested year of entry. If the request can't be fulfilled for that year the application will be automatically rolled to the next year. Applications on the waiting pool are valid for three years or until the first refusal of an enrolment offer.

College Considerations for Admission

When making offers of an interview which may, in turn, lead to an offer of a place at the College, the College considers the following in no particular order:

  1. whether the child has siblings currently enrolled at the College;

  2. whether the applicant is a child of a current College staff member;

  3. whether the child is within a family who are active members of a Christian church including a pastor’s reference;

  4. children or grandchildren of former students of the College;

  5. the social and academic balance of the existing year level cohort at point of entry;

  6. sons or daughter of ministers of the Baptist denomination;

  7. evidence of a place at a similar Christian school elsewhere in Australia or overseas if a family relocates to the area;

  8. a student’s willingness and ability to contribute to the wider life of the College;

  9. evidence of a student’s good character and leadership skills;

  10. the alignment of the family’s beliefs and values with those of the College;

  11. gender class balance; and

  12. the lodgement date of the Enrolment Application.

As places at the College are in high demand, we encourage families to apply for enrolment as early as possible and we accept applications from birth. Please note that all admissions are at the sole discretion of the Principal.

It is important to keep up to date with school reports/NAPLAN to ensure your application remains current. This is a condition of being in the waiting pool. It may be of benefit for you to forward us copies of school reports as they become available throughout the years and we will attach them to the Enrolment Application to maintain its currency. Please mark these for my attention. You may email them directly to: [email protected].
