On Thursday, 26 June, our Primary students came together for a fun-filled Coin Toss Fundraiser, raising an incredible $850 for The Kids’ Cancer Project. The fundraiser was organised by our enthusiastic Year 6 students, who are participating in this year’s Write a Book in a Day competition.
The event invited students from all year levels to toss coins towards a target during first break, with prizes up for grabs for those who hit the mark. It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved, cheering each other on, and supporting such a meaningful cause.
The money raised will go directly towards childhood cancer research, helping to fund improved treatments and work toward a cure. As part of their participation in the competition, the Year 6 writing teams are committed to raising awareness and funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project, a charity that supports children in hospitals across Australia through both science and story.
Thank you to everyone who donated coins and joined in the fun. Your generosity is helping to make a real difference.
Well done, Year 6, for leading the way with purpose, creativity, and compassion!
