My first week at GCC as a Primary Pastor has been such a blessing. I have been meeting so many kind, caring and amazing staff and students who have welcomed me with open arms.
My name is Stefan, I am married to my beautiful wife Bianca, and we have one “fur baby” (puppy) named Cali. We love going for walks, bike rides, travelling and spending time by the beach.
I have spent the last 10 years working as a School Chaplain in Christian Schools in both NSW and Perth, WA. I have also loved to serve in our local church by playing drums on the church worship team.
Earlier this year, my wife and I felt that our season in Perth was coming to an end and that God had put on our hearts for us to relocate to the east coast of Australia to be closer to our amazing family. We spent time praying about this and visiting the Sunshine Coast to see what doors God would open up for us.
Once we decided to step out in faith and trust God with this big move, we began to watch God open one door after another for us to relocate and step into this new season for our little family. God continues to show us His faithfulness and blessing every day as we step out into the unknown, with a peace that only He provides. This always reassures us we are in His will, which is the best place to be.
We are reminded and encouraged by the scriptures
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7), as well as
“Trust in the Lord witth all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
I am passionate about “paying forward” the love of God to young people that He first showed me, and that all students would know they are seen and cared for. I am honoured to be able to serve this amazing GCC community and am looking forward to the amazing journey ahead.
