Over the past 10 days our bands, choirs and individual soloists have participated in the Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod. This is one of the largest music eisteddfods in south-east Queensland. Our school entered this competition for the first time and it was a wonderful opportunity for our students to be exposed to some highly developed ensembles and individual performers. Considering this is our first year in the competition our school did quite well.

- JD Theron & Jacinda Raffaut participated in the Instrumental Duet 16 years & under
- JD Theron competed in the 16-18 woodwind solo
- Jacinda Raffaut participated in the intermediate solo championship for woodwind in her age group
- Wind Ensemble (Middle School Band) competed in the Secondary Band section B
- Symphonic Winds (Senior Band) participated in the Small Instrumental Ensemble Under 18
- Cool Voices participated in the Primary Choir section
