This year the Oztag momentum was continued from last year’s successful program.  GCC entered 3 teams into QLD All Schools Oztag Competition which was held at the Kawana Sports Precinct. With music blaring and 22 fields running consecutively. Students played from Friday through to Sunday in what was a fierce round of competition in the QLD All Schools OzTag Competition. A massive thanks to Steve Barrons who headed up the competition as head coach, along with Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Mckenzie, and Mrs. Demarutis. Students worked hard in after-school training sessions and have developed their skills dramatically.

The Yr 5 Boys B Team made the semi-finals which was an outstanding achievement for their team with several students being selected for the All Stars Team.
