In the past week, all the Prep classes have visited Sealife Underwater World and had a great time! We learnt so many new and interesting facts about God’s amazing creatures. Did you know that Barramundi are all born boys and then change into girls at around 5 or 6 years of age? Did you know that parrot fish blow a snot bubble to protect themselves from predators while they sleep? Did you know that an octopus can squeeze itself through tiny spaces and loves to play? We do! We also can tell the difference between rays and sharks, male and female. We know what the deadliest fish is too.
The children’s behaviour and question responses were a credit to our College and we were very proud teachers. Our heartfelt thanks to the parents who accompanied us. Each class had such a special time!
