Year 6 is learning all about geological science, particularly volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis.

We have been studying sudden movements of the earth’s crust and the subsequent impact. After detailed research into some of the most serious recent natural disasters students collaboratively made a working model showing the geological event.

This will then be filmed in slow motion and used in their own BTN episode news report. Ground-breaking stuff!
