Year 4 students recently enjoyed an exciting and creative Raw Art Incursion, where they explored a 3D planetarium through clay sculpture.
Guided by the artist’s instructions, students used a range of clay-modelling techniques to design and create their own planetarium sculptures. Some students drew inspiration from the planets in our Solar System, while others explored different colours, patterns, and design features in their work.
The classroom was buzzing with enthusiasm as students moulded, shaped, and decorated their sculptures. This engaging experience provided a wonderful opportunity to combine science and art while developing their clay-modelling skills. Most importantly, students enjoyed the hands-on process and the chance to express their creativity.
The finished sculptures were impressive, showcasing the creativity, focus, and artistic talent of our Year 4 students. We are very proud of their efforts and thank Raw Art for providing such an engaging and inspiring learning experience.
Well done, Year 4 – you truly reached for the stars! 🌟
