The Year 11 cohort has had a fantastic and diverse term filled with exciting opportunities, pathways exploration, leadership, and service.
Throughout the term, many of our students have been actively involved in a wide range of external certificate courses, traineeships, apprenticeships, and tertiary preparation programs. These opportunities have allowed students to pursue passions and gain valuable real-world experience in fields such as Allied Health, Animal Care, Justice Studies, Education Support, Engineering, Construction, Electrotechnology, Plumbing, Meat Processing, Sport and Fitness, Dance, Psychology, Music Production, Science Research Methods, and more.
It has been wonderful to see our students stepping confidently into vocational learning pathways and developing practical skills that will equip them well for life beyond school. We are incredibly proud of the way the Year 11s have represented the College both onsite and offsite through their commitment, maturity, and willingness to embrace new learning experiences.

A special thank you must go to Jayne Hinds and Carol McKee for the incredible work they do behind the scenes supporting our students in organising these opportunities. Jayne and Carol work tirelessly to assist students in exploring pathways beyond school, knocking on doors, building connections, and helping students access meaningful workplace and training experiences. Their dedication, encouragement, and support play a huge role in helping our students step confidently into their future pathways.
To finish the term, several students have volunteered to serve at the Year 8 Camp during Week 8. These students will be leading games, running praise and worship sessions, and sharing personal testimonies with the younger cohort. We are so proud of their willingness to lead, encourage others, and invest into the lives of younger students. It promises to be a very special afternoon for everyone involved.
We are also looking forward to ending the term together with a fun night of Laser Skirmish and pizza — a great opportunity for the cohort to relax, connect, and celebrate all that has been achieved throughout the term.
Thank you to all staff, families, and students for your ongoing support and encouragement throughout what has been a busy and rewarding term for Year 11.
