Year 10 Camp

Three weeks ago, the Year 10 cohort undertook a journey filled with laughter, challenges, and unforgettable memories – Year 10 camp!

Nestled in the scenic beauty of Mt Tamborine, our camp provided the perfect backdrop for an adventure-packed few days. From thrilling activities to heartfelt moments of bonding, here’s a snapshot of our camp escapade:

Thrilling Adventures:

Our days were filled with outdoor activities that pushed our limits and brought out our adventurous spirits. From mountain bike riding through rugged terrains to mastering survival skills and conquering challenges, every moment was a chance for our students to challenge themselves and discover their strengths.

Teamwork and Camaraderie:

One of the highlights of the camp was witnessing our students come together as a team. Whether it was tackling the rock climbing wall, taking on the terrifying (but oh-so-exhilarating) giant swing (it was scarier than it looked… and it looked scary), or working through team challenges, it was inspiring to see everyone support and motivate each other to succeed.

Quality Bonding Time:

Amidst the excitement of outdoor adventures, we also enjoyed precious moments of bonding and camaraderie. From engaging in lively games of spotlight, board games, and card games (I have never before witnessed such a loud and passionate game of spoons!), to soaking in the beauty of two breathtaking sunsets, and sharing stories and laughter around the campfire with s’mores, these moments strengthened our connections and created lasting memories.

As we bid farewell to camp and headed back home, we carried with us not just memories but a sense of fulfilment and excitement for the adventures that lie ahead for our cohort.

To all the parents, teachers, and students who made this camp a resounding success, thank you for your enthusiasm, teamwork, and adventurous spirits. Here’s to many more adventures and unforgettable memories in the days to come!
