On Friday of Week 3, Year 1 students participated in a Street Science Incursion. They enjoyed watching an interactive science show where they learnt about what happens when different materials are mixed and the reactions that occur. They then got hands-on in a workshop where they followed a procedure to learn how to make bouncy balls.

 There was lots of excitement and awe throughout the morning and some of the highlights definitely included the giant clouds made with dry ice, watching colour reactions change and of course making their very own bouncy balls using moulds and PVA powder.

 We have some budding scientists in the making!
