On Wednesday, 20 August, our Year 1 students were treated to an unforgettable incursion with the amazing team from Street Science!
Guided by Matt, a real-life scientist, the children became mini-physicists as they explored Newton’s laws of motion in action.
The highlight of the day was building and launching their very own CO₂ rockets, bringing the concepts of push, pull, and gravity to life in the most thrilling way. This hands-on experience was not only bursting with excitement but also perfectly connected to our science unit on forces, giving students a chance to extend their learning through discovery, experimentation, and plenty of fun!
