On Tuesday, 19 August, Year 1 students had a very exciting incursion with the incredible scientists from Street Science.

Together with Tasman, a real scientist, students investigated Newton’s laws of physics by building and launching CO2 rockets in an unforgettable exploration of push and pull forces.

Year 1 has been learning all about the forces of ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’ and gravity in science this term and this was a wonderful opportunity to extend their learning through fun and meaningful hands-on activities. You can access photos HERE
