In week 10, Year 1 students and teachers hosted a celebration party for the Year 7 students. There was great anticipation in the lead-up to the party and the students were very excited to see their buddy from Prep. In class, our Year 1 students had worked hard to create invitations using PicCollage, party hats, decorations and even decorated biscuits for the occasion. 

Finally, the anticipation built and it was time for the party to begin. It was very sweet to see the buddies reunited after all this time apart. There was lots of chatting and catching up to be had. The Year 7 students had written some thoughtful stories for their buddies and were able to read them to them. There was fun, laughter, an obstacle course and of course, no party is complete without games! A fantastic time was had by all.
