On Friday 12 November we had the great pleasure of holding a fundraiser for type one diabetes.
There are multiple students within Primary and Secondary School who have to live with diabetes 24/7 and even some teachers. The fundraiser was held to celebrate World Diabetes Day and all money raised is going towards the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
The JDRF is a nonprofit organisation that funds research to help create new and improved treatments for type 1 diabetes. We raised $1,123.55.
The day was a success and we can’t wait to do this again in the future, making it bigger and better to raise as much money as we can for the JDRF!!
