There are over 40 million people living in slavery today and we want to do something about that. More than that, we want to equip and empower you and your children to do something about it too!
Our College, in partnership with Glasshouse Country Baptist Church, is putting on a 24-hour ping pong challenge. The focus of this challenge is to raise money and awareness for the modern-day slavery epidemic and have a lot of fun doing it!
Our College is running this event from 8am until 3:30pm after which the church will take over responsibility until the following day at 8am.
Students can sign up and play for a period or during break times and before and after school and need to get sponsored to play.
The one who raises the most money will get a ping pong bat with their name on it that will be hung in the Pastors Lifehouse room. The idea is that as they encourage others to sponsor them, they will get an idea of the importance of this issue and be empowered to continue advocating for people who don’t have a voice or a chance.
It would be amazing if you could support this worthy cause either with signing up yourself here: https://pingpongathon.com/glasshousepong, making a tax-deductible donation, sponsoring a student or colleague or by encouraging others to sign up.
As a community, we want to raise at least $10,000 but that can only happen if we all do our part and get involved in supporting this cause.
What will your involvement be?
Isaiah Logan, College Pastor
