It is so wonderful to meet all our new students and to see all the children back from their holidays and ready to learn in our wonderful Kitchen Garden.
We started the year making a watermelon and mint smoothie with our beautiful big watermelons that grew over the summer holidays.
We have harvested our sweet potato this week and made a sweet potato salad on rosemary flatbread.
The children will be learning about all our herbs that we have growing in our garden this term and our cooks will be using them in our drinks and food that we will be making.
Danni McClure and I are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing and cooking in the Kitchen Garden and we would love parent helpers to come on a Tuesday with your child’s class if you are available.
