Patrick McKenzie (Year 12) and Aiden McKellar (Year 12) recently represented the Sunshine Coast in the U19 Division at the Queensland School Sport 16-19 Years Volleyball State Championship in Brisbane. 

Teams from across Queensland battled it out over the four days of the Championships. After initially playing some impressive games, the boys came up against tough competition and just missed out playing in the top four, to place 6th overall. 

Patrick and Aiden are to be commended for their selection in the team over a number of years and their commitment to the training schedule with the challenges of Covid. As this was their final Volleyball Championship as Seniors, the farewells were bittersweet, with the boys building strong friendships with their coaches and teammates, many of which will continue into the future.
