This week, our Year 5 and 6 students took part in the ThinkUKnow cyber safety presentation, an engaging and informative session designed to help young people understand how to stay safe online. The presentation was led by Mel Isherwood and Senior Constable Susan Lowndes, who shared their expertise in online child safety and digital awareness.

Students explored key topics such as recognising safe and unsafe online behaviour, protecting personal information, and responding appropriately to concerning online situations. The session also encouraged students to think critically about their digital choices and how their actions can impact others in online spaces.

We are very grateful to Mel and Senior Constable Lowndes for their time and for delivering such an important and relevant message in an age where technology plays such a significant role in our students’ lives. The ThinkUKnow program provided valuable tools to help our students become confident, respectful, and responsible digital citizens.
