Dance
There are some exciting changes for the Arts at Glasshouse Christian College in 2022. Firstly, we welcome Megan Sparkes who will be teaching dance and coordinating the Secondary Dance Troupes. There will be some exciting changes in the Upper Primary Dance Troupes and the Lower Primary Dance Troupes by introducing recreational dance groups being offered to students along with the more competitive Dance Troupes. Tammy McClintock will continue to coordinate the competition Primary Dance Troupes along with the Dance and Drama Academy. The Recreational Primary Troupes will be run by the senior dance captains under the direction of Megan Sparkes. Please refer to the following links for more information.
Instrumental Music Lessons
Instrumental Music Lessons are starting again in week 4, term 2 (week starting Monday 14 February). Instrumental Music welcomes new tutors to the College in 2022 and enrolments for lessons are coming in quickly. You can find more information about Instrumental Music Lessons here.
Students, on reaching an appropriate standard in their musical instrument, will be encouraged to become involved in a broad range of musical experiences beyond regular lessons. The College provides opportunities to participate in a number of different ensembles. It does not cost to participate in the ensembles but we do ask that you complete the 2022 Music Ensemble Attendance form. For more information about any of the Instrumental Music Programs, more information can be found in the Instrumental Music Handbook 2022
