Special thanks to those who were able to attend, place orders or donate books at our annual Book Fair. With your generosity we sold $7,170 worth of books, allowing us to receive just over $2,276 in commission to purchase books for the College. We have been busy cataloguing the new resources to get the titles onto the shelves and have added commemorative bookplates in the donated titles. Many re-orders have been completed and the final load should arrive shortly. A huge shout out to the library team and our Book Fair volunteers, including Shondra Briton, Leah Roulston and Amanda Klein who assisted with Book Fair.
At the end of Term 2 we held the Koorong Book Sale on Grandparents Day. Koorong provides a wide range of Christian books, Bibles, music, DVDs and gifts to help people in their Christian walk. The profits support Bible Society Australia as it undertakes Bible translation, Bible distribution and Bible engagement both here in Australia and around the world. As a College, we also benefit from the sales of the items purchased on Grandparents Day. This year we sold $2379 worth of items and were able to receive $477 in commission titles. Thank you for your assistance with this and the generous contributions of our Grandparents.
See you in the library.
