On Wednesday 6 November the Trade Training Centre held its Graduation Ceremony for 50 students who have completed their training this year.
Chris Potgieter and Nathan Siggs from our College were among the students graduating. These young men have completed a Certificate I in Construction and a Certificate II in Infrastructure Resources.
The Centre provides excellent training but also thorough preparation for going out in the workforce after Year 12. Nathan has already started a full time apprenticeship following his final work placement in September.
Of the 50 students graduating five were nominated for HIA Student of the Year. Chris Potgieter was one of these five students. A further five students were Highly Commended and Nathan was one of these five students. It is a real credit to these young men that their teachers considered them worthy of this recognition.
Congratulations to Chris and Nathan. Good luck with your future careers and thank you for being fine ambassadors of our College.
