Year 9 Food Technology students had an excursion to the Strawberry Farm to see how strawberries are grown. They watched a video on the cultivation of strawberries and then were able to pick their own strawberries to take home. It was lovely weather and students enjoyed eating lunch and having a yummy strawberry ice cream.

Feedback from students included:

Ebony- Enjoyed picking and eating the strawberries.
Brianna – I enjoyed seeing the process that they go through and also enjoyed seeing them being packed.
