On the first day back of Term 4, the Year 11 English classes were serenaded into their English lesson by Mr Renat Yusupov on the cello. Half of the English students are currently studying the novel The Cellist of Sarajevo, and its representation of the hope that music (particularly cello) can bring during times of oppression and injustice. It was a blessing to hear Mr Yusupov play, and we are privileged to have him at GCC!
