What an outstanding performance from Sophie Doyle and Estah Muller at the Regional Track and Field Championships! 

Sophie placed 1st in the 800m, 1st in the 1500m, and 2nd in the 400m, an incredible achievement against strong competition. She also broke the 800m record with a time of 2:21, surpassing the previous mark set back in 2016. Alongside this, she ran a strong 4:54 in the 1500m and 1:03 in the 400m, all while competing in tough, windy conditions.

What an incredible performance from Estah! She placed 1st in javelin, 1st in discus, and 2nd in shot put, absolutely blowing the competition away. 

Due to the incredibly windy conditions, Estah’s first two javelin throws were blown off course, causing her to foul, leaving a very tense and nervous third throw, but she managed to come away with the win. 

Both these ladies inspire both their teammates and competitors alike—congratulations, Sophie and Estah!
