On the last Friday of Term 3, Prep White celebrated together as we revised 2D and 3D shapes.
We made rectangular placemats we covered with 2D shapes, a conical party hat and played a game of shape ‘Corners’ to the music.
In small teams of 2 or 3, we had a photo scavenger hunt, which was exciting as we discovered shapes we hadn’t even noticed before, like the void where the skylight is like a cube.
We played Pass the Parcel and answered questions about shapes, and then ate foods of different shapes, like cubes of cheese, jaffa spheres, prism sandwiches, cylindrical Cheezels, cheerios and lamington finger prisms.
So much delicious food was provided that we had multiple visits to the table. It was a tasty way to finish a busy and productive term!
