Term 1 has been an action-packed season of sport at GCC, providing students with extensive opportunities to compete, refine their skills, and demonstrate excellent sportsmanship.

Our junior and intermediate boys’ soccer teams enjoyed strong seasons, with the girls’ teams in particular recording more wins than losses. Senior SCISSA volleyball teams performed exceptionally well throughout the term, with the majority now set to compete in Grand Finals in Week 3 of Term 2.

Beyond school competitions, our Monday night netball teams delivered consistently strong performances, while our beach volleyball teams returned from the Queensland and National All Schools tournaments with an impressive haul of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Other highlights this term included the Senior Trish Buckley Volleyball competition and our swimming carnivals.
