Welcome back

The GCC Sports program in 2025 will again strive to continually meet the growing needs of our students. We encourage all students to participate in sport and physical activity during the school year as well as provide competitive opportunities for those students who aspire to compete at a higher level.

Throughout Term One there will be opportunities for students to participate in teams across a variety of sports in regular weekly competitions. These competitions include secondary schools and colleges from our wider Sunshine Coast community as well as participating schools in regional and state-level competitions.

Some early activities and events to be aware of are the district trial dates. Parents and students need to be aware that the cut-off date for nominations will be strictly enforced by district administration. I have included all of these dates below.

This term we also have a number of opportunities to participate in teams for GCC. Students who would like to be involved need to nominate via the links provided in this report. This term there are opportunities to play SCISSA Volleyball, SCISSA Soccer, Netball, T20 Cricket, Beach Volleyball and Rugby League. Middle school students will also have an opportunity to nominate for Friday afternoon sport activities and SCUBA diving.

This report is a one-stop shop for all sport and recreation activities taking place in Term One.
