GCC Defeated Matthew Flinders AC 4-0.
Wednesday of Week 10, the Junior Girls A Touch football team traveled to Peregian to take on the ladder leaders, Matthew Flinders Anglican College in the SCISSA Grand Final. The game started well with an early try to the GCC team followed by another just before half time. The girls ran back out after the break with an air of confidence which resulted in an early try to stretch the lead to 3-0. Some fantastic defensive pressure and hard running ensured GCC finished winners 4-0 at full time. Congratulations to all the players and coach Desley Palmer on an impressive win. This is GCCs first recorded SCISSA Touch Football Grand Final victory.
