On Friday 12 May, four of our talented Year 6 mathematicians travelled to Good Shepherd Lutheran College to participate in ‘A Maths Masters Challenge’ organised by the Sunshine Coast Independent Schools Primary Heads Association (SCIPHA). The event was designed to challenge, extend, and stretch students with a passion and aptitude for Mathematics. The students selected, Sean Barrett, Cooper Beaven, Jacob Ferrari, and Liam Wessels, were given the opportunity to work with other like-minded mathematicians from surrounding Sunshine Coast schools. They participated in a number of engaging, enriching, and exciting Maths challenges. All students had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the Maths Masters Challenge.
