Two of our Senior Science students entered this year’s Science Research Awards at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Jesse Woods created a poster board from the data he had collected from last year’s water analysis of Coochin Creek. He also completed in the 3-minute-to-win-it competition held in conjunction with the Science Awards. Jesse presented a 3-minute talk outlining his findings from the Coochin Creek water analysis investigation.
Kerryn Geldenhuys created her poster board which displayed information and data relating reaction time to the thickness of an individual’s myelin sheaths covering their brain neurons.
Even though they didn’t take out any prizes this year both Jesse and Kerryn should be congratulated for their time, effort and enthusiasm for entering these awards.
