At the end of Week 5 this term, our College entered 15 teams into the Queensland Beach Volleyball Schools Cup competition at Coolangatta. Competing against 580 teams from 62 secondary schools and colleges from across the state, this event is recognised as the largest beach volleyball tournament of any level in the Southern Hemisphere.

Our students achieved outstanding results across multiple divisions.

Year 12 Boys Pairs Division 1 – Silver
● Year 12 Boys Pairs Division 2 – Gold
● Year 12 Boys Pairs Division 2 – Silver
● Year 8 Boys Pairs Division 1 – Silver
● Year 10 Boys Fours – Silver

These results are a strong reflection of the athletes’ preparation, teamwork, and competitive intent across the tournament.
A streamlined squad of Junior 4s teams and Senior Division 1 teams will now compete at the national championships later this month.
