P-2 Cross Country Carnival
The Prep to Year 2 students participated in their first carnival for the year. The event brought participants together across all year levels for a day of fun and house competition.
Participants raced through the beautiful College grounds and challenging course surrounding the eastern oval, nature play area, water reservoir and bush tracks, demonstrating impressive endurance and skill. The atmosphere, as always with the junior school carnival, was filled with excitement and support.
When the races were all finalised the House points revealed the championship House Team.

Congratulations to the following Boys and Girls who were the race winners 1st – 3rd:

It is always a pleasure to be part of the pure joy and excitement that the junior school students bring to all the events they participate in and witness the mix of competitive runners and students out enjoying a race in the sun with their friends. There’s no doubt that each child always tries their hardest, and always finishes with a big grin on their face as they cross the finish line.
Thank you to all spectators, Year 6 House Captains who assisted as race guides, College groundsmen for the course preparation and all staff for making the Prep – 2 Cross Country Carnival an unforgettable event. Please view the photos captured from the day here.

Primary SCISSA GALA DAY
Semester 1 of Primary SCISSA is now complete. We ended the season with the first and final Gala Day of the competition. Students enjoyed a jam-packed semester of sports. In addition to the Gala Day event, students participated in four SCISSA Friendly afternoons against the following schools: Suncoast Christian College, Pacific Lutheran College, Immanuel Lutheran College and Matthew Flinders Anglican College.
Eight buses delivered 270 College students and their coaches to an array of stadiums, fields and courts throughout the Sunshine Coast. Students competed against all the Independent District Schools on the coast to make a fantastic day of sport. Over the semester of training every Thursday afternoon and Friendly Games, it was amazing to see how much students have improved and progressed with their individual skills and as a team.
