Performances, class displays and competitions on Open Day: Thank you to all the families who supported our Open Day last Saturday. I spend the whole time on Open Day in the Undercover Area speaking to new families so I usually visit classrooms either Friday evening or before 10:00am on the actual day.

Congratulations to the following students who won Champion and Highly Commended for each of the class competitions. It was so difficult for the judges in many of the categories.

The performances were a highlight throughout the day and I heard lovely feedback from existing families and visitors to the College. Your support of these groups for practices and performances is really appreciated. Without your assistance we could never showcase what opportunities our students have here in terms of extra curricular activities.

Our teachers provided classroom displays which reflected students’ learning and I would like to express my appreciation for the hours of work they did on Friday evening and early Saturday morning setting up the classrooms.

So, Open Day for 2018 is over, but the excitement and interest in Glasshouse Christian College within the community and beyond continues to grow and the reputation of the College is the main reason that new families are enrolling their children.
