I read the article below recently and thought some of you would appreciate reading it as well. As parents, we sometimes hear our children say something and we are just not sure how to answer them. Although this article is written for teachers there is a powerful message for parents also in responding to our children.
This article closely aligns with our position in the Primary School.
We constantly speak to our students here at the College about having a growth mindset and how “struggle” and perseverance in learning situations causes synapses in the brain to spark and the brain actually “grows” in capacity.
