Can you believe that we have only nine weeks left in the 2015 school year? For many of us on staff, we are not only closing off 2015, but planning for 2016.
During the holidays Mr Curtis, Mrs Mitchell and I interviewed a number of teachers to fill the positions we will need for 2016. We all agreed that the quality of the applicants was outstanding and we actually had difficulty reducing the number to short list and interview last week. It was such a blessing speaking to the teachers we interviewed and hearing what they could bring to the Primary College.
Quality staff are the key to a good school and it is exciting to have applicants of such excellent calibre (with such glowing recommendations from their referees) apply for these primary teaching positions for 2016. We praise God for His provision in this important aspect of our College.
Junior Athletics – Another Great Event.
Despite the rain which caused the sports day to be shortened, there was enough time for all children to have their races and still participate in some of the additional tabloid sports. This is always such an enjoyable day and all the children enter into the spirit of the events, which makes the day so successful.
Thank you to all parents, staff and P & F members who assisted to make the day so much fun.
The rain may have shortened the carnival – but it didn’t damper everyone’s spirits. For photos click here.
Key Dates for Term 4
Please check the College website for important dates for Term 4. The last two weeks of term will be exceptionally busy and will be upon us before we know it.
I trust you have had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to all the activities which make the end of the school year so exciting and so enjoyable.
