Last term, the Prep classes went to the Events Centre in Caloundra to see Sam McBratney’s beautiful story “Guess How Much I Love You” come to life.

We started our special excursion day with a picnic morning tea together on the front “lawn” of Prep Maroon with all three classes, the teachers and teaching assistants and our special guest helpers for the day, Pastor Joc and Mrs Mitchell. It was then onto the big GCC buses for a fun trip into Caloundra. The trip was full of lively conversation and lots of landmarks were pointed out along the way.

The show “Guess How Much I Love You” was brilliant. The puppetry, storytelling and sound and lighting effects were enthralling. It is difficult to sit quietly and still in a darkened theatre when there is so much noise about. However, the teachers were so proud of our children. The GCC Preps were so well behaved. After the show, Mrs Mitchell was approached by a member of the public who complimented her on how well behaved and respectful our Preppies were.

Well done, Preps.  We love you to the moon and back!
