There are two weeks left to complete the Premier’s Reading Challenge 2020! This year the Premier invited students to read the following number of books:
· Prep to Year 2 should read or experience at least 20 books,
· Years 3 and 4 should read at least 20 books, and
· Years 5 to 9 should read at least 15 books.
Once the challenge is completed the PRC Reading Record needs to be signed by a Parent/Caregiver and returned to the library by Friday 28 August.
QSuper is proud to continue their support of the Premier’s Reading Challenge in 2020 and now, more than ever, want to encourage a love of reading in Queensland kids. They are currently running the QSuper’s competition where two schools can win a full day visit from author, Brian Falkner, to be held in Term 4. There are also eight $500 book voucher prizes to be won. To enter, students simply share their top five favourite books and why they like them here. The competition closes on Friday 28 August.
