The oval was a hustling hive of activity from early in the morning as coaches, Senior Sport and Rec students, teachers and maintenance set up the fields for an action packed day. The students turned up to our junior oval with enough heat and enthusiasm to fill a stadium.
After roaring each other up more than you could imagine with war cries that sang out through Beerwah we were underway with our first 3 rotations which each year level participated in. Sprints, Long Jump and Tug of War and the famous Obstacle Course.
After a quick refuel and break time, students joined their teams in their chance to compete against one of the other 15 teams during the 8 tabloid rounds of competition. Students had lots of fun during the tabloid rounds and had the opportunity to compete with other students from a mix of year levels.
It was neck and neck all day to see who the overall winning house would be but there can only be one winner and the points were tallied up. Zion received 300 points, Ararat received 305 points and Sinai came in 1st with 330.
A great day was had by all with a Dance Party to cap it off.
