What an incredible week away during the school holidays. Snow coverage was excellent, weather was cold and I have never seen bigger smiles on the faces of Senior students. Every two years I organise a trip across the ditch to give our Year 11 and 12 students the chance to experience one of my greatest passions – snowboarding!
This year we had 36 young women and men, hop on a plane (for some the very first time) and set off on an adventure. We skied three resorts over seven days, had a couple of days off in Queenstown to see the sights, we ate like kings, and experienced the exhilarating ride on the shotover jet, rushing through the canyons near Coronet Peak. The students really just enjoyed a fantastic, living on the edge, holiday away.
For anyone interested in the 2019 Ski Trip, stay tuned for information coming mid 2018. Spots fill up very fast. This is an experience your child does not want to miss.
