To celebrate the 25th Year of National Family Reading, Scholastic are encouraging families to take part in a 31 Day Family Reading Challenge – to read together for at least 10 minutes everyday in the month of May. Families can sign up for the challenge here and download the reading rocket log here or use the one included in the Book Club Issue 3 brochure that will be sent home early next. There are no prizes for participation as this year Scholastic are kindly partnering with the Smith Family to provide book packs to families in need everyday in May.
