Music Department:
Instrumental music lessons and ensemble rehearsals have commenced this week. If you would like to enrol your child/ren in lessons, please follow this link to complete an enrolment form. If you have multiple children you would like to enrol, please complete a separate form for each child. Once your child’s enrolment has been received, your details will be passed onto the appropriate instrumental music teacher and they will be in contact with you regarding lesson day, time and equipment to bring to lessons.
If you would like to read further information regarding the Instrumental Music Program offered at GCC, please access the Music handbook.

CONCERT BANDS PERFORMING AT ANZAC DAY SERVICES
GCC Concert and Primary Band has been asked to perform at the annual Beerwah ANZAC Day service to be held in Turner Street Park (behind the Beerwah Library). Band students will not be participating in the march. It is a privilege to be asked to play at this service. An email was sent home the end of last term regarding details. A reminder email was sent home this week as well outlining the details.
Please endeavour for your child to attend the service. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected]. Please ensure the school has your child’s up to date medical records and best family contact details.
If you haven’t already, can you please complete the Google Form informing the music department of your child’s intention to participate in the Anzac Day Service in Turner Park, Beerwah.

The College bands will also play at the school’s Anzac Day whole College service on Tuesday 24 April. There will be no Primary band practice that morning although we will be setting up from 7:30am so extra helping hands would be great.
