Living the life of the dash

How do we live life in the dash? From the time we are born until the time we die is signified by the dash on our gravestone. In 1 Thessalonians it is stated: Make sure nobody pays back wrong for wrong, always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

Each teacher of Middle School endeavours to help/encourage and guide your child on how to live that life.  I am hoping that your child’s presentation at the recent Student Led Conference was a testimony to this and a positive experience as we work together to make the rest of this year count and be worthwhile for your children.

Calendar Events

Elective Subject Selection Evening for Year 9 Electives will be held Wednesday 21 August at 5.30pm in the Library. This is only for parents of students in Year 8. These electives are chosen as yearlong subjects and continue on through to the end of Year10.

Arts Evening – Friday 23 August Various Arts presentations from Dance, Drama and Art through to Music and Interior Fashion Design displays. There will also be French Food appetizers and desserts.

Year 7 Middle School Experience Morning Thursday 17 October 9.00am – 11.30.  This will be for all Year 6 students and students new to Year 7 in 2014. A Parent info session will be held at the start at 9.00am in the church.
