Year 9 camp adventures
Emu gully is a great camp
You don’t always have to be the main champ
Doing activities that will help us work together
And creating bonds that will last forever
In teams with people that we don’t usually see
But we learn to be who we were born to be
We learn being individuals and accepting each other
That there is no need to put down one another
All though we miss out on our normal leisures
We’re being adventurous and discovering new pleasures
Our team wasn’t working in the beginning
But with our new bonds it doesn’t matter if we are winning
So thank you guys for all that you have done for us
But soon we have to get back on the bus
So alpha is the best and we will tell you why…
ALPHA’S FIRE WILL NEVER DIE!
Did you come to Open Day? If not, you missed out on many great displays, demonstrations and presentations of students’ work. However, it is not too late to put the up and coming Funfest and the Arts Evening in your diaries. The dates for these can be found on the school website – school calendar.
Middle School Students should be spending at least one hour/night on school-related tasks such as homework, assessments and revision and up to 2 or sometimes 3 for Year 9. Please contact your child’s teachers if you wish to touch base about more specific expectations. The email addresses for all GCCC teachers can also be found on our school website under Contact, Contact Teachers.
