This week we recognised students who received ICAS competition results, the Debating team students, Term Academic and Diligence certificates from Term 3 and our Dance Troupe who came Highly commended in a large competition several weeks ago. These students have worked hard and consistently over many weeks and months to achieve the results they have been recognised for. Congratulations also to our ‘Happy Photo’ competition winners and a special thanks to Miss Gook and her student team for putting this in place. It certainly created a great deal of fun and laughter around the school.
Welcome home to our Beerwah celebrity, Miller Wilson-Raatz, who returned from 2 weeks in Hollywood, this week after working on a special production. He has made a few Youtube clips that gained over 480,000 views and has over 5,000 followers to do with his love and fascination for wildlife that have brought him into the limelight. I’m sure we will see him aired on the big screen in the next few weeks.
As we move into assessment time and the end of the year, please continue to encourage your child over the finish line. Teachers are only an email away and are happy to discuss any concerns with you.
Coming up in the next two weeks
Exams over three sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for Maths, Science and French with the regular timetable outside of these times.
Alternative Academic Program and Wrap up is shaping up to be a fantastic week! There are so many great options on offer. Students will need to sign up for the Tuesday and Wednesday program. Read more about this here.
