Leadership: This week our Middle School Leaders were inducted into their leadership roles at a special assembly. Glasshouse Christian College has a beautiful tradition where the parents pin the leadership badge to their child’s uniform. This is not only because they are proud to witness their child being inducted as a leader, but also because together we support our leaders to conduct their roles throughout the year at Glasshouse Christian College. Leadership is a shared responsibility where there is direction from the teachers and encouragement from parents. However, there also needs to be intentional support from those who are being led by those vested as Middle School Leaders, the wider student body. The leaders are given training and time to plan the ‘how’ and ‘what’ of their leadership presence for the year ahead. It’s always great to see these student leaders put into action ways to build a positive school culture and provide opportunities to serve and bless the wider community.

Elevate Study Skills – Parent information session – Tuesday 25 February at 6pm

GCC will be hosting this presentation which will give information and guidance on time management, prioritising work and best practice approaches to study skills. Students will also have presentations by this external company during school time on this day. You can read more about this organisation here.
