In Year 5 French class, students are learning about the parts of the body and how to name them in French. The pupils are putting their learning into a project, creating their own creatures using their imagination. They are then writing up a description of their own creature.
The students have been very enthusiastic about this project and have come up with some truly unique and creative ideas. They have also enjoyed learning new vocabulary words in French and are eager to show off their new skills. Here are some initial sketches.

We are also working hard in other years……..Year 6 is learning the parts for ‘Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains’ (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs). We hope to have this ready for the Open Day, so do keep the date free and come along and enjoy the performance.

In Prep and Year 1 we have been learning colours using all the senses, sound, sight and taste has been one of the favourites……..Using Psalm 34:8 Sentez et voyez combien l’Éternel est bon!
(Taste and See that the Lord is good)
Our final one this week is Marron!

Finally the French department would like to wish you “Joyeuses Pâques” (Happy Easter).
