Thank you to the parents and caregivers who attended the Literacy Pro Parent Pipeline this week. The powerpoint of the session is now available on the GCCHub for those who couldn’t attend. If you have questions about the program please feel free to come and see one of the library team members or speak with class teachers about your child’s reading level. As the Home Reading program for students in Year 3-6, we value your support and encourage families to set up regular home reading habits that promote consistent reading and completion of comprehension quizzes. This will provide the best platform for success on the program and ensure that students’ reading goals are achieved across the year. As always parents and caregivers are very welcome to visit the library to assist children as they commence (Year 3) and continue the program (Year 4-6). We look forward to working alongside you and your child on the program in 2019.
